When I see a group of adults attend a GoGo Craft event it is so clear to me they are fulfilling a great need. In a time where we are all connected 24/7 there is nothing more important than being able to disconnect and use our hands to create. This kinesthetic experience is something we all crave, consciously or unconsciously.
I believe that GoGo Craft is giving us adults the opportunity to go back to the joy of crafting we experienced as a child. Amelia's workshops are accessible to everyone, whether you are an novice or an experienced crafter. She creates a space for you to craft with others, to create something with your own hands allowing you to leave the day to day behind and only focus on the here and now.

Thank you so much for being a part of our festivities last week! Your creative and fun activities were a great complement to the evening. I think that the two DIYs were appropriate offerings, wherein, they could be enjoyed by all audiences/ages/gender, and offered different levels of engagement ranging from moderate-extended in time length.

The talented Amelia Strader lead about ten crafty ladies in up-cycling soft old sweaters into cozy fingerless gloves- perfect for a drizzly night in the Bay Area!... The collection of gloves ended up being as individual and unique as the crafters who made them.
